The Name:

Sundai Studio was named after my favorite day of the week and the energy it exudes: Slow mornings and homemade meals. Full hearts and cups of tea. The day we rest, connect, reset. The feel-good day of the week. Because that’s how your brand should feel too—easy, like Sunday mornings.

Meet the Designer

I’m Jena Thielges, founder of Sundai Studio. Welcome.

I made my start in design in 2012. After graduating with my BFA in Graphic Design, I worked as a designer for a local Virginia agency for seven years, leading the packaging design for alcohol brands across the country—and as far as the citrus groves of Valencia, Spain. While I adore me the occasional dirty martini, the alcohol industry didn’t feel aligned with my values as a designer or human.

At a time when I was immersing myself in meditation, yoga and hormonal health, the wellness industry felt aligned. So, I founded Sundai Studio to serve women who value wellness, too. Today, I’m known for my work as a brand and web designer—not just because websites marry the best of my creative, analytical and organizational skills, but because, in today’s day, your website is your business.

The daughter of entrepreneurs, I’ve been immersed in business since I was a kid—so it’s no surprise I’m the designer who will hold your hand through business strategy, too. The designer who will be the first to say ‘Yes!’ to automating your tech stack or marketing funnel. The designer who loves business—and wants you to love your business, too. Together, we can make that happen.

Get to know me

  • I work from the comfort of my home in Virginia, neighboring Washington, DC.

  • I’m a Leo Sun, Virgo Moon, Virgo Rising—which is probably why websites are my thing. IYKYK.

  • I binge-watch Gilmore Girls and Friends on the regular. Because nostalgia.

  • I love coffee, but I’m more likely to caffeinate with an almond milk matcha latte.

  • I eat soup even when it’s not seasonally appropriate—Spicy Zucchini is my favorite.

  • I’ve read Womancode by Alisa Vitta at least four times. It’s a masterclass on the female body.

  • I welcomed my daughter, June, to the world in 2021. Mother is my most important title.
